Stefanos Tsitsipas, the Greek sensation who has been a staple in the top 10 of the world tennis rankings since March 2019, is on the brink of leaving this elite group.

According to the line rankings, after Taylor Fritz reached the semifinals in Delray Beach, Stefanos will definitely be out of the top 10 starting Monday.

This shift in rankings comes as a result of a series of events that have marked Tsitsipas’s recent career. Tsitsipas’s performance in the Australian Open was a significant factor in this change.

Despite reaching the final of the Australian Open the previous year, Tsitsipas suffered an early defeat in the tournament this year. This loss had a substantial impact on his ranking points, pushing him closer to the edge of the top 10.

In addition to his performance in tournaments, Tsitsipas has also been dealing with injuries. He was forced to retire three games into a match due to a back injury, which further impacted his ability to maintain his ranking.
