Carlos Alcaraz says he cried after losing to Djokovic in the ATP Finals

Carlos Alcaraz was recently questioned by a reporter on several topics, and one of them asked him to pick and choose a defeat that had made him cry.

After his loss to Novak Djokovic in the ATP Finals 2023 semifinals, Carlos Alcaraz reportedly revealed that he had cried. Djokovic was awarded the title for a record-tying seventh time during the tournament, which took place in Turin from November 12 to November 19.

In the semifinals, Alcaraz gave a poor performance against Djokovic and was eliminated in an hour and thirty minutes. Alcaraz was recently questioned by a reporter, and one of the questions asked him to choose a loss that had made him cry.

Alcaraz expressed his thoughts about it and said: “I’m not sure, but I would say after losing in the semifinals of the ATP Finals in Turin against Djokovic.”

He added: “There have been several defeats that have hurt me, like those of Zverev and Djokovic in the ATP Finals and the last one of Jarry in Buenos Aires.”
